We were very proud of our production of Robert Bolt's A Man For All Seasons. The play presents the perilous dilemma of Sir Thomas More, caught between religious faith and the raw political power of King Henry VIII in 16th century England. More, a government official, is torn between conscience and King, placing his family in peril. He risks everything ... for his faith.
Sir Thomas More (Peter Manos), with wife Lady Alice (Sandra Manos) is accompanied by his bright and educated Daughter Margaret (Eileen Canepari) and her husband William Roper (Tim Keo). Matthew (Sean Manos) is the (occasionally) loyal household servant.

Sir Thomas finds himself unable to obey King Henry (Dan Flannery) on the matter of his divorce and break from the Catholic Church, unleashing a torrent from Cardinal Wolsey (Bernard Canepari), then Thomas Cromwell (Tom Cullinan) aided by ambitious climber Sir Richard Rich (Eli Manos) and erstwhile friend The Duke of Norfolk (Michael Regnier) and Archbishop Cranmer (Reverend Joe Kovitch). Chapuys, the Ambassador of King Charles of Spain (Kevin Cronin), also appears to present the position of Spain and the Pope, as does Mistress Anger (Dorothy Canepari), whose legal case contributes to Sir Thomas's fall.
